Daria had asked the Lord why he was taking so long to send her a man, she had waited so patiently and like many single
women, was ready for a good man to enter her life. For Daria, love came knocking at her door and although she didn’t
realize it at the time, the Lord had answered her prayer. Expectations is a love story which also incorporates lessons in
faith, adversity, honesty, trust, and forgiveness.
When Daria’s neighbor Michael was caught in an amusing situation, he came knocking on her door. They are both
attracted to each other, but Daria has a strong faith in the Lord and Michael has been away from the church for some
time. This is one of many obstacles they face on the way to a loving relationship.
I love this book because it shows real life circumstances as the characters deal with honesty, trust, faith, forgiveness, and
great fun with the aunties on both sides of the family. It’s funny and hart warming, and also shows how two people can
come together and face obstacles and challenges that will either bring them closer together or tear them apart.
The path to love is not always an easy one, but this book takes you on a journey that will make you laugh, cry, and believe
in the power of love as well as faith in the lord and knowing he will show you the way.
